Rosencrantz听补苍诲听Guildenstern are two minor characters in Shakespeare鈥檚聽Hamlet. So minor in fact that nobody, including themselves, can tell which one is which. They are playing a game of heads and tails. Rosencrantz wins an improbable ninety-two 鈥渉eads鈥� in a row. Their fate will be decided by the toss of a coin.

Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead聽is an聽,听听产测听.聽The play takes place mainly "in the wings" of Shakespeare's聽Hamlet, with brief appearances of major characters from聽Hamlet聽who enact fragments of the original's scenes.聽
